ISO 45001 Certified vs. Sensible: A Pragmatic Approach
ISO 45001 is finally out after over four years of development, but how realistically can OHS professionals meet it?   The standard is a framework for managing OHS risks and opportunities. Is ISO 45001 holistic?

Assessing OHS software within its context

Firstly, examine your current system before implementing a new one. Every organization uses OHS systems differently. Your software does not need to be ISO 45001 certified, but the reverse is also true; if the software is certified before you buy it, it does not automatically mean are operating to the standard.
