The utilities industry will spend $101 million USD on environmental, health and safety (EHS) software in 2021, according to a new study from independent research firm Verdantix.
The Verdantix forecast represents a 9.8% growth rate from 2020, in which utilities firms spent $92 million.
For context, this is higher than the expected growth rate of the market overall in 2021, which is 4.7%.
Consequently, out of the 25 industries tracked, utilities is the fourth biggest spender in the EHS software market.
