Mark Gibson takes over from Murray Ferguson as managing director of Pro-Sapien, leading the company’s provision of EHS software based on the Microsoft 365 platform.

Pro-Sapien, Glasgow-based provider of EHS software on Microsoft 365, has announced the appointed Mark Gibson as Managing Director.
Taking over from Murray Ferguson, who stays on as executive chairman, Mark will play a key role further developing the company’s business strategy, particularly in operations and sales channel expansion.
Mark brings more than 30 years of global senior management experience and has built a reputation for being an innovative and entrepreneurial leader. In 2022, Mark led the sale of Livingstone-based Capito to XMA, one of the UK’s leading technology resellers. Prior to this, Mark has held senior roles in several IT companies, including SAS/Memex where he played a pivotal role in the sale and subsequent integration of Memex, and creation of the SAS Global Public Security Unit.
In recent years, Pro-Sapien has expanded its portfolio of major clients, which includes aerospace giant BAE Systems and global energy logistics firm Peterson Control Union, alongside US-based corporations such as environmental services firm Woodard & Curran and multiple international manufacturing brands.
This global growth has Pro-Sapien poised for further expansion into new markets, which Mark is in a strong position to lead having worked extensively in North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
