Pro-Sapien, specialist provider of EHS software on SharePoint, has announced support for Modern SharePoint in the Office 365 version of the system.
Modern SharePoint refers to one of two available SharePoint user interfaces (UI), the Modern experience or the Classic experience.
The Modern experience is designed to be more compelling, more flexible, mobile-ready, and easier to use.
Offering Modern support comes with many advantages for Pro-Sapien clients, including:
- Dashboards and libraries are mobile responsive
- Far superior filtering, grouping, sorting and creation of personalized views in libraries
- Clearer highlighting on severity and status columns in libraries
- Simpler site hierarchy that makes it easier to collaborate across departments
- Improved Action Manager and Power BI embedding on front page
- Improved Action Manager user interface with card view
- Flexible layouts that can be changed at any time
By default, new Pro-Sapien deployments for clients on SharePoint Online will be in the Modern experience. However, Classic is still an option.
